True Meaning of Love
What is the true meaning of love?
Is it when two hearts fit like a glove?
Someone who always cares,
Even when you have crazy hairs.
The person that gives you a home,
And writes you a beautiful poem,
Sings songs to make you happy,
Acts all lovey dovey and sappy.
The person who helps you heal,
Cares about the way you feel,
knows what is for the best,
Even when you are a pest.
The person who brings you treats,
the way in which she greets,
making sure I am always close,
Letting me sit on her toes.
The meaning of love is different for all,
But for me the family is who I call,
When I need to be complete,
I seek the person I was destined to meet.
PS.... I dedicate this poem to my best friend- Mom and to my other best friend Charlie.
